Marking the first anniversary of the death of Prof. Wiesław Chrzanowski
On April 29th, students of the 24th Year Class paid tribute to the late Prof. Wiesław Chrzanowski – the figure from recent Polish history selected by the current students as their patron.
The School Colour Party was joined by Deputy Director Marek Haliniak and KSAP employees on a progress through the Old Powązki Cemetery, flowers being laid at the grave of the patron, and candles left burning in his memory. In the course of the commemoration, Director Haliniak sought to characterise the life and work of the late patron, as well as emphasising the importance of each Year Class selecting such a figure for patron as may encourage a shaping of key values and attitudes by the School’s students.
